Field Trip To Penang 2022
FIELD TRIP TO PENANG, DIPLOMA IN TOURISM MANAGEMENT
On 19th -21st September 2022, a total of 44 participants involving 41 students of Tourism Management Diploma, 2 lecturers and a 1 support staff have participated a field trip to Penang. This trip was organized by the Department of Tourism Management, Johor Bahru Metropoint College. The main objective of this trip is to give the students the experience of traveling by plane. Students will also be exposed to the aviation industry.
The activity carried out throughout the Penang trip is the Corporate social responsibility program at Homestay Pulau Betong, Balik Pulau. On the second day, all participants started their trip to Bukit Bendera. Next to Padang Kota and finally to Queensbay Penang. On the last day, the trip continued to Goergetown for the mural art hunting activity. Then we buy ‘Jeruk Madu Pak Ali’ and lastly to the airport to depart to Johor Bahru. This visit has lasted for 3 days and 2 nights.
